Privacy Policy

Neon Peach, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Triathlon Race Day Checklist mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address. Apple Sign-In users may choose to hide their email, in which case we receive a private relay address.

Race Data: Checklists, race details, times, notes, race files, and venue locations you create are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers. Only your account profile is synced to Firebase for account functionality.

Photos: Race-day photos are stored locally on your device in the App's private storage. Photos are not uploaded to any server.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Send you race-day reminders you schedule, delivered as local notifications on your device
  • Respond to your support requests

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Your checklists, race data, and photos are stored on your device using the App's local file system. This data is included in your device backups.

Cloud Storage: Your account profile (name, email, photo URL, and sign-in metadata) is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) with encryption in transit and at rest. No other data, including your checklists, race details, photos, files, notes, times, or venue locations, is sent to our servers.

Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication, which handles credential security. We never store your passwords directly.

Subscription Data: Subscription status is managed through Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not process or store payment information directly.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication and user profile storage. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple (Sign in with Apple, StoreKit): Authentication and subscription management. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Open-Meteo: Weather forecasts for race venues. We send only latitude and longitude coordinates. No personal data is shared.
  • Google Sign-In: Authentication option. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Account Data: Retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile data is removed from our servers within 30 days.

Local Data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your race data (available through device backups)
  • Opt out of notifications at any time
  • Request information about how your data is used

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@triathlonracedaychecklist.com or use the account deletion feature in the App's Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

8. International Users

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers are located. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

10. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at support@triathlonracedaychecklist.com.
